Tulips and Heather is the collective of Freya Elise Kemp and Maya Chessman, who co-run Tulips and Heather Shop, where they both make illustrated products, sometimes collaborative, and have their own individual illustration practices. Both are inspired by similar themes and are open to working on individual projects and collaborative ones.

Freya is a papercut artist and illustrator making work that is both folky and graphic. Inspired by nature, bugs and magic
as well as queerness, play and repeated motifs, Freya is open for enquiries for editorial and publishing illustration work.
Maya Chessman
Maya is an illustrator making detailed, sensitive and story-led work, often inspired by nature and folklore. Maya hand-draws line-work with pencils and uses ink layers to colour and is open to work on illustration commissions in publishing and editorial, and anything else their work would be a good fit for.
